Hi Shane

Can the neon tubes handle 110/240 volts? They may only be ment for 12volt applications - maybe you blown the tubes, and thats why they are not working?

Kind regards

hey i want to know how to hook my neon ending wires to a cut off 12v car charger so that everytime i plug it in the neon will come on,I have a switch and all and i made that work, but i want to run the neon off of the car charger. How can i do this? Also when i first connected my wires to the battery it worked but about two days later i seen smoke coming from my hood, when i checked it out the + wire was fried, why is that and what is the solution to my answer? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

To James...

Yes, you can tap into the parker lights and still have it on a switch as an accessory.

For the other persons question...

you can simply connect the neon wires to that of the car charger - it should work.

Also, i'm not sure why you fried the wire - could be any number of reasons - first of all, you need fairly thick wire to handle the current, and also a 5amp fuse on the positive wire - so that will blow first and NOT you neons/leds.

Good luck ;-)

Kind regards

hey antonio,

I have been reading up on how to install led interior lights into the footwall, and came across relays. Would you preferr using relays or just hooking up the led to the switch only? Is there any down side to either?

Hiya Antonio;

I wanta attach a pair of 12V blue led lights into the lower front bumper, and was tinking of connecting the positive wire of the leds to either the sidelite or headlight wire with t-tap connectors. Question is if 12 volts goes to both the light and led light will it be 6 volts to each resulting in dim lights for both?

Hi There...

To Sam... just hooking up the led to the switch only is fine - no need to complicate things with relays - no downside - just easier ;-)

To Kevin...You will still get 12volts to all lights, with only a very minor drop in the brightness - you will hardly notice this drop.

Good luck and merry Christmas to all ;-)

Kind regards
